Our Values

These are the core values that lie at the heart of Cascade Covenant Church. They motivate and guide us in our ministry. These values flow out of our faith in Jesus Christ.

We Care about People:
Creating a community of faith where people count and relationships grow is central at CCC. The truth that each of us is made in God’s image and loved by Christ transforms our view of ourselves, other people and our relationships. Caring about people and relationships leads us to emphasize small groups, ministry teams, socials, retreats and other events that help us know and enjoy each other. We care about people; we care about you.

We Care about Kids:
Our children’s and youth ministries are big priorities at CCC. We are thankful to be a church with a lot of kids! Jesus loved the little children; we want to love them too! We have made staffing for children’s and youth ministries a big part of our ministry. Kids count at CCC!

We Care about Spiritual Seekers:
We want to help people who are unsure about Christianity and the church hear the message of Christ in an authentic, caring, respectful, clear and compelling way. We also want to be a place where Christians who have moved away from connection with a church can renew their participation in worship and Christian community. We invite spiritual seekers and skeptics to join us, bring their questions, express their doubts and share their ideas. We respect people’s freedom to process the message of Christ at their own pace.

We Care about Spiritual Growth:
We want to be a church where God is touching people in life-changing ways. All of us can grow. In our worship, teaching and small groups we emphasize the life-application dynamic of our faith. We want to help people discover how to integrate their faith with their daily life. We want people to grow in Christ in powerful ways.

We Care about Teamwork:
God ministers to people through people. Our team approach to ministry affirms the reality that God gives every person gifts and calls them to serve. We encourage people to become participants rather than spectators. As people serve, their faith grows and our ministry together is blessed.
